First export — 88+ SCA to Portland

240 kg of washed Pink Bourbon from El Bosque cleared customs and landed with a roaster in Portland. Three and a half years after the first seedlings went in the ground.

The shipment cleared customs on November 4. 240 kg of washed Pink Bourbon from El Bosque, cupped at 88.25 by the buyer's Q grader, bound for a roaster in Portland.

This is the one we've been working toward since 2021 — the first lot small enough to be personal and large enough to be commercial. It doesn't pay the bills on its own, but it closes the loop between the seedling row and a shipping manifest. That was the whole point.

Next steps: a second micro-lot in February (carbonic maceration), and scaling the washed La Vega Caturra as the workhorse for the Q1 orders.
